ITS RIPLEY ON THE BRIDGE! On Sunday morning 1972, in South Vietnamese Village, 200 tanks and 20,000 men were assembling to cross a bridge and annihilate Marine Corps Captain John Ripley and the Marines, but Ripley BLOW THE BRIDGE! It took Ripley a dozen trips to position the charges, each time with huge loads of TNT and C4, each time with bullets pinging around him. Then two more trips to set the detonators. Exhausted, muscles burning, he was waiting on the riverbank for the explosion when he saw an injured mother with her child trailing well behind. Ripley raced out, scooped her up and raced away from the bridge toward the mother. Boom! Ripley and the child were safe. But, the bridge had collapsed for enemies' defeat. Well done!!
