Hey there… Rob from MGYB…

Here is a “DO THE DO” drive stack case study:

What if you could compete with the big brands at a fraction of the cost… and WIN!

We had a mastermind member do a case study on a client’s eCommerce site which has a lot of products in various categories and almost 514 pages.

The site has the following things done which helped in getting traffic and better rankings:

  1. Branded Syndication network
  2. Branded Drive Stack
  3. @id page
  4. Some press releases

The SEO Shield as we call it above was then powered up by building 2 tiers of links to them.

Initially the site had basic on-page done like schema markup, good speed, and a better UX. Internal linking was improved to tighten up the topical silos within the site

Based on competition analysis, a specific keyword was found for which competitors were getting a good amount of traffic to their websites. The keyword is very competitive with lots of Google ads and over 450 million competing URLs.

The client’s website had one target page for that keyword and some supporting pages so the drive stack strategy was implemented for this keyword.  The money site target page was mirrored on the Gsite, with supporting articles and pdf docs the way it’s discussed in RYS Academy for adding depth and breadth to a drive stack. The partially expanded stack and Gsite were then powered up with approx. 50K web 2.0 contextual links and 230K GSA links.

Note: a partial drive stack was built for his case study and even more power is possible when a full drive stack is utilized.

Six to seven weeks later, the high-comp target keyword jumped to the second page along with increased ranking across many other keywords.

After getting amazing results and more LOVE from Google after each update, the following things for the target keyword of this case study were added:

  1. Created a lot of web2.0 contextual links and almost 700K GSA links.
  2. Added a 2nd tiered drive stack which links only to the Gsite targeting the isolated keyword.
  3. Created 500K GSA links to the 2nd tiered drive stack.

See the results of this additional power in the shots below…

Below are screenshots of the continued power and improvements after all the latest Google updates…

As you can see by this case study, when you combine the power of the SEO Shield with the SEO Artillery of link building with a site that has the SEO Armor in place with great on page and interlinking, the competition does not matter.  So the only question now is if you are going to take action and start competing with the big boys!
